Marinated Pheasant Strips

I found this recipe for marinated pheasant strips while I was looking for a different recipe. I had forgotten about it but do recall that it was pretty good to use pheasant.

  1. In a bowl, mix ¼ cup of balsamic vinegar with ¼ cup olive oil. Cut the pheasant into thin strips and add to bowl. Toss to coat the pheasant with the marinade. Cover with cling wrap and put into refrigerator overnight.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat with some olive oil. Sauté the pheasant to your desired doneness. ( It is easy to overcook. ) Discard the remaining marinade.

You can eat the marinated pheasant strips with sides like potatoes, veggies, etc. Or make a salad and put the cooked pheasant on the salad. Or use it for pheasant tacos.
