I found this recipe for marinated pheasant strips while I was looking for a different recipe. I had forgotten about it but do recall that it was pretty good to use pheasant.
- In a bowl, mix ¼ cup of balsamic vinegar with ¼ cup olive oil. Cut the pheasant into thin strips and add to bowl. Toss to coat the pheasant with the marinade. Cover with cling wrap and put into refrigerator overnight.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat with some olive oil. Sauté the pheasant to your desired doneness. ( It is easy to overcook. ) Discard the remaining marinade.
You can eat the marinated pheasant strips with sides like potatoes, veggies, etc. Or make a salad and put the cooked pheasant on the salad. Or use it for pheasant tacos.
