As the deck rebuild winds down there are a few final tasks, such as the landscaping, to be completed.
7/29 – Totally redid the bed on the north side. This bed was a mess of grass and mixed rock with exposed pipes. I first removed all of the landscape rock then leveled out the remaining dirt and gravel. I then dug three holes for the new shrubs. Next, a layer of landscape fabric followed by planting the three shrubs. These shrubs are ground cover. Then I put back the landscape rock.
